KP-38S

This version 5 inch plotter was originally designed as an emergency navigation aid that is super low power and can run from a 5-volt supply for a great many hours. However, it can also run from a 12- or 24-volt supply via a small power adaptor that is supplied with the plotter. Using this adaptor it will draw only 200 m/a from your battery; it can also run from a USB socket or a phone power bank.  Part of the power saving is that NMEA is not provided so this KP-38S has neither NMEA in or out but is otherwise identical to the standard KP-38  and has its own GPS receiver.  If you don’t need NMEA and just need a new multi-Function chart plotter at a super price then this 38S is ideal. However, where it does differ is in the price; originally this was priced at £339 or thereabouts but to clear it is yours for £169.00 including VAT and delivery within the UK. It is new and unused with a one year warranty and comes with the free power pack (45mmx30mmx20mma) a Puck type GPS aerial, suncover, original installation docs  and a chart for the UK.
